Ghanaian Twitter influencer Bongo Ideas has taken a swipe at popular Forex trader and influencer Kojo Forex, accusing him of running a “shady business empire” and engaging in questionable practices.

In a series of tweets on Thursday, Bongo Ideas suggested that Kojo Forex’s wealth does not solely come from Forex trading, but from other “illicit online money-making” ventures.

Bongo Ideas tweeted: “Forex trading alone did not get you these things. You do other shady business. If you legitimately make so much, why charge to teach? Tell the world the truth, or I will. The FX thingy is just a small part of the secretive online business empire (I will explain later) he runs.”

The Twitter critic also alleged that Kojo Forex is not as successful in Forex trading as he claims to be. “His profits from FX, as he makes it seem, do not come because he’s a genius in the game. There are oldgees in the game who will tell you that he’s a liar,” Bongo Ideas tweeted.

Kojo Forex, who recently celebrated his 30th birthday with the purchase of a new mansion and a Range Rover Vogue, has built a large following on social media by sharing his trading strategies and offering paid courses to his followers.

However, Bongo Ideas warned people not to be fooled by Kojo Forex’s social media antics, and suggested that he may be running a Ponzi scheme. “Don’t fall for the social media antics. You’ll be soon disappointed that FX is not a get-rich-quick scheme. Only the Ponzi schemers make it seem so, which he is,” Bongo Ideas tweeted.

It is not clear what evidence Bongo Ideas has to support his allegations against Kojo Forex. However, his tweets have sparked a heated debate on social media, with some users calling for Kojo Forex to address the accusations directly.

As of the time of this writing, Kojo Forex has not responded to Bongo Ideas’ allegations.
