When will Wassce Results be Released?

WASSCE results are usually released within three months after the exams are written. If you are looking for information regarding the release date of your results, keep reading this article to find out the answer along with a number of other useful information relevant to the topic.

Are the WASSCE results for 2022 out?

Yes. The results of the 2022 WASSCE examinations have been released. The West African Examination Council (WAEC) released the provisional results in December 2022.

The results were hosted on the WAEC official website and also available via phone short code for all candidates to easily and freely access it.

How can I check my 2022 WAEC result?

There are two ways by which you can check your WASSCE results, either via the official WAEC website or via a mobile short code.

Either way however, you will first need to purchase a scratch card or voucher to be able to proceed with the process.

How much is a WAEC scratch card?

The WAEC scratch card or voucher is a major requirement in the results checking process. The card will provide you with a PIN code and a serial number which you will be required to input during the process. Without it, you will not be able to proceed.

The scratch card or voucher costs Gh¢20.

Do WAEC results expire?

No, WAEC results never expire. Be it BECE, WASSCE or NOV/DEC, your results will always be in their system.

This means that whenever you wish to check your results, no matter how many years later, you will be able to access it as long as you have a scratch card and are able to provide your index number and the year in which you wrote the exams.

How many times can I check my WAEC result online?

There is no limit to how many times you can check your WASSCE results, although the smart thing to do will be to simply download, screenshot or print it out the first time.

But if your question is how many times you can check your results using one card or voucher, the answer is 5 times. Each candidate will be able to use the same card or voucher to check their results a maximum of 5 times. If you wish to check beyond this number of times, you will have to purchase a new card.

What happens if you fail WASSCE?
