The Management of Ghana Education Service (GES) has issued a statement today 1st February, 2023 announcing the immediate suspension of all internal transfers within all Regional Education Offices nationwide.
The statement cited the need for a comprehensive review of the transfer process to ensure transparency and fairness.
The management has therefore decided to put all internal transfers on hold until a thorough review of the process is conducted.
The statement also mentioned that the review will focus on creating a fair and transparent system for staff transfers, as well as improving the overall management of human resources within the Education Service.
The Management of GES has assured all Regional Directors of Education and staff members that the suspension of internal transfers will be temporary and will be lifted once the review has been completed and the new procedures have been put in place.
The Management has also urged all staff members to cooperate fully with the review process to ensure the timely resolution of the issue.
The GES Management has stated that it will continue to work towards the betterment of the Education Service and provide equal opportunities for all staff members.
